Universities Fund opened the 2026/2027 scholarship application window for continuing students under the Student-Centred Funding Model. The application route applies to students in second year and beyond who were placed in public universities by KUCCPS.

The Ministry of Education stated that Grade 12 students in private schools applying the Ministry curriculum would sit all final examinations in government general education schools. The arrangement applied under joint supervision and coordination with the School Operations Sector.
The Ministry of Education confirmed that Grade 3 and Grade 4 students would complete final School-Based Assessment instead of centralized end-of-third-term examinations. The assessment window was set for 15 to 19 June 2026.
The Ministry of Education announced the end-of-third-term examination schedule for Grades 5 to 12 for the 2025-2026 academic year. The exams were set to run electronically and in person from 24 June to 3 July 2026 for government schools and private schools following the Ministry curriculum.
