What Changed?
The regulation requires education arrangements in certain therapeutic establishments to reflect student and teacher safety needs and the operating conditions of those establishments. It also sets separate class organization rules and a maximum of eight students in relevant special classes for court-placed minors.
Old System vs New System
Previous rules covered education in medical and social assistance settings but did not include the same targeted arrangements for court-placed minors in therapeutic establishments.
From 13 June 2026, directors and governing bodies must organize affected special classes with safety, establishment conditions, student needs, and a maximum class size of eight in mind.
