What Changed?
The June 2026 handover moved the project from planning and procurement into delivery at selected federal and state Colleges of Education. The equipment package included laptops, tablets, desktops, interactive smart boards, projectors, printers, and backup hard drives for use in teacher training and digital learning activities.
Old System vs New System
Before the handover, the selected Colleges of Education had not received this project-based ICT equipment package under the Federal Ministry of Education partnership. Digital learning capacity depended more heavily on each institution’s existing resources.
Fifteen Colleges of Education received new ICT equipment and related instructional support for pre-service and in-service teacher preparation, digital learning, gender-responsive teaching, and safer school practices.
