RA values and UIS/WDI values
RA values follow Argentina’s administrative reporting categories. UIS/WDI values use harmonized international definitions. Matching level names do not guarantee identical coverage.
Federal reporting limits
National totals do not describe all provincial and City of Buenos Aires rules. Calendars, implementation details, and transition procedures can differ by jurisdiction.
Teaching posts
Teaching posts are staffing positions reported in RA data. They are not the same as unique teachers or full-time equivalent teachers unless a source defines them that way.
Finance indicator use
Government education expenditure as a share of GDP is a finance indicator. It should not be interpreted as an outcome indicator or as causal evidence.
University separation
University education is reported through separate official university statistics. Common Education totals should not be summed with university values without a defined source-year method.
Assessment role
Aprender is a diagnostic national assessment series. It is not presented here as a placement exam, school ranking, or student certification test.
